What did intercultural exchange look like in medieval Poland?
Our second session explores 14th century Poland — a kingdom shaped by remarkable cultural diversity, situated at the crossroads of Latin, Byzantine, Jewish, Armenian and Baltic traditions. We examine how interculturality was expressed and negotiated through architecture, law, trade and daily life.
The session will include:

— An introduction to key peoples and communities present in 14th century Poland
— Specific examples of how interculturality was expressed: textiles, writings and laws, architecture, money and currency, exhibitions
