“If I Moved There…” Travellers’ Club meetup #3. March 27, at 3 p.m. CET. Diana Silva Franco invites us to relocate to Bilbao!
“We, as multicultural specialists, need to look for the big picture. Beyond the rankings and awards and GDPs there are invisible dynamics that impact the daily lives of locals and foreign residents. Those are the ones we must look at when choosing our next long-term destination. From openness to diversity to tolerance, overlooking these can make the migration process even harder than it is.” says Diana.
“If I Moved There…” Travelers’ Club is 1 hour online interactive exchange to explore cultural experiences through the lens of personal travel, professional reflection, and imaginative relocation.
15 minutes of the presenter’s travel story, followed by discussions in breakout rooms to consider participants’ imaginative relocation to the featured country.
• What would excite or challenge them?
• What adaptations might be needed – professionally, socially, emotionally?
• What values or habits might shift?
Finally, we’ll have a professional exchange when interculturalists reflect on the traveller’s story, ask questions, and share insights that arise from an intercultural perspective.
You should not necessarily be an intercultural professional to attend!

Thank you, SIETAR Polska, for hosting the Travellers’ Club!
