Join us at SIETAR Polska Meeting with Isabelle Gillet – Cross-Cultural Psychotraumatologist.
We would like to invite you to the meeting that will present some tools and solutions for this difficult time, during which a lot of our fellow intercultural professionals will work with people forced to leave their homes behind and face the new reality, including the cultural one.
Meeting with Isabelle Gillet – a trainer and therapist who specializes in helping people who experience culture shock, acculturation stress, and identity crisis.

Learn more about Isabelle:
Isabelle Gillet is of Belgian origin but also Portuguese at heart and deliberately « a citizen of the world ».
She studied Social Anthropology in Liège and specialized in Mental Health, went to the U.K. for Teacher Training, then added Psychotraumatology to her portfolio, which she therefore looks at through a cross-cultural lens. Isabelle shares her life between Belgium & Portugal and works mainly with expats on identity issues ranging from cultural surprise to stress and to suffering. Isabelle is also a certified practitioner in Neurocognitive & Behavioural Coaching and in Gifted Counseling. Before opening her private practice in 2015, which she named HEMISPHERES after « the common point between our brains and the world », she had worked for 20 years on European-wide non-profit programmes, as well as, for the US Government with military families. She now acts as a cross-disciplinary therapist, coach, trainer, facilitator, consultant and supervisor, focusing on Cross-Cultural Intelligence, Neuroscience and Communication, blending scientific and symbolic tools.
