Polonia in America: A First-hand introduction and portrait
“Poland has one of the largest diasporas stretched across the globe – often referred to as Polonia. One of Polonia’s largest contingents is in the United States. Polish-Americans have a rich history and culture, and even after several generations still maintain a sense of Polish identity and connection to their roots. This webinar hopes to share some of the history and culture of Polish-Americans to a wider audience, and especially towards those not only in Poland but other members of Polonia. It is also for those interested in diaspora and migration studies. In our globalized world, the Polish-American story has great resonance where we can be both deeply interconnected but also deeply rooted in our identities.
