“What stories do cultures talk about the future?
D&D Club #23

Every culture carries its own imagination of tomorrow, and it isn’t neutral: we script it differently. Some imagine salvation, others collapse, endless progress or a return to origins. These stories shape how societies prepare, what they fear, and what they hope for.

When we look at the future through different cultural lenses, we don’t just see different predictions; we see different values, priorities, and dreams. If our futures are so different, are we even moving toward the same world?
That’s the exploration waiting for us in this discussion.

D&D Club #23:
“What stories do cultures talk about the future?”
on the 5th of March, at 3 p.m. CET

D&D (Discuss and Debate) club is an up to 60-minute free-flow open-ended self-regulated exchange that allows participants to state opinions, agree or disagree, negotiate and hopefully (but not necessarily) reconcile opposite standpoints. No recording, no presentations, no summaries. Come, listen, share, make your own conclusions.
