Organised by Isabel Mohedano Sohm (Pro InterCultura) and Anny Tubbs (First Move Productions) and Grazia Ghellini (SIETAR France) with the support of SIETAR Polska
Cost per person:
- 50 euros for SIETAR members,
- 70 euros for non-members,
- 30 euros for students and jobseekers.
- The price includes lunch and refreshments.
The event is open not only to members of SIETAR France, but also to all national SIETARs and to anyone wishing to find out more about the SIETAR association.
A wandering workshop through the heart of Europe to explore our citizen participation in a different way.
Brussels is a capital city of 1.5 million inhabitants of over 180 nationalities, with 6 out of 10 residents born outside Belgium. The city is home to more consular representatives than Washington, but a third of the population lives below the poverty line.
As the seat of the European institutions, a hub at the crossroads of several European countries and a political system based on compromise, Brussels is bound to be of interest to us interculturalists.
We would therefore like to invite you to a walking workshop on Saturday 14 June, comprising a number of discussion and reflection sessions.

Provisional programme:
Start of the day:
- Meet at an underground stop near Gare du Midi, at Les Abattoirs d’Anderlecht (at Cultureghem (TBC))
- Workshop with screening of the film LESS WALLS by Anny Tubbs followed by a Dream Kitchen lunch in the préau of Les Abattoirs (TBC).
- Discovery walk of contrasts in Brussels
- Meeting with 1 MEP and/or a personality working in European affairs
- Debriefing and forward-looking conclusions at Elzenhof (TBC)

Participation aux frais par personne de 50 euros pour les membres de SIETAR, 70 euros pour les non-membres, 30 euros pour les étudiants et chercheurs d’emploi. Le prix inclut le déjeuner et les rafraîchissements.
L’événement s’adresse non seulement aux membres de SIETAR France, mais aussi des toutes les SIETARs nationales et à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir l’association SIETAR.
