D&D Club #24:
“Directness vs. diplomacy: which builds trust faster?”
“We know that trust grows differently across cultures, contexts, and between individuals.
Where directness builds trust quickly in one setting, diplomacy opens the door to a deeper connection in another.
At D&D Club #24 we’re exploring the tension between these two approaches, looking at the assumptions and expectations behind each style and how they shape collaboration. Please bring vivid examples and contrasting perspectives on how trust is built, broken, and repaired.

Hopefully, this conversation will also help us name our own trust‑building preferences and see how they play out in practice, not just in theory.
D&D (Discuss and Debate) club is an up to 60-minute free-flow open-ended self-regulated exchange that allows participants to state opinions, agree or disagree, negotiate and hopefully (but not necessarily) reconcile opposite standpoints. No recording, no presentations, no summaries. Come, listen, share, make your own conclusions.”
