How to Move Beyond Polarization?
Narrative Coaching and Intercultural Transformative Mediation in Practice
In today’s professional environments, shaped by diversity in cultures, generations, and convictions, value-based conflicts — linked to beliefs, identities, and political or social perspectives — are increasingly common. These tensions can deepen divisions, reinforce opposing positions, and hinder constructive dialogue and collaboration.
Moving beyond polarization requires shifting away from dynamics of blaming, shaming, and excluding, toward a responsible acknowledgement of differences, allowing individuals and teams to remain in dialogue while holding divergent perspectives.
This experiential seminar draws on narrative coaching and intercultural transformative mediation, grounded in approaches developed and tested in organizational settings. Participants will explore practical ways to:
● Understand how polarization emerges in professional contexts
● Recognize intercultural and value-based dynamics
● Move beyond binary thinking and rigid positions
● Restore dialogue and relational capacity across differences
Through experiential exercises and reflective dialogue, the webinar offers practical tools to navigate polarization and foster more constructive collaboration in diverse professional environments.
